Nolina, Elephant Foot – Beaucarnea Recurvata

Origin: Mexico

Trunk measurements: 60/80 80/100 100/125 +125

Description: It is an unusual and exceptional plant grown indoors or outdoors, for its easy maintenance and its resistance if we do not exceed in watering. The main stem is thick and fleshy, and gradually develops a thicker and more dilated base of important proportions, resembling a bottle. The long, thin leaves grow all together from the upper part of the trunk and fall down curving. It is slow-growing, especially in shady places. It withstands quite high temperatures in summer, but it is not resistant to cold. It only blooms when the specimen is a few years old and develops white flowers.
